It was a decision we made to increase the quality of our boutique hotel in the Dolomites. Adults only 14+ isn’t a restriction here – it’s a promise of a higher standard of service for you. It means peace and quiet by the pool, in the spa’s relaxation room, on the terrace, and on the sunbathing lawn. It means that we put all our energy into creating an experience designed for adults who want to turn their focus inwards. Echoes of you.
Where do your feet take you in summer?
Along paths and trails, always heading for the summit. The Dolomites and the Val d’Ega/Eggental valley reward every metre of elevation gain with jaw-dropping views.
What does winter bliss mean to you?
Fresh snow on the Dolomites slopes between Mt Catinaccio/Rosengarten and Mt Latemar. The Carezza ski area right on your doorstep, the entrance to the Dolomiti Superski area just a short distance away.
What awaits you in the infinity pool?
The water is chlorine-free and so gentle on the skin that you won’t want to get out. It’s heated all year round and simply perfect for moments of relaxation.

The difference between food and a meal that someone has cooked for you with love and skill. In the morning, the flying breakfast is adapted to your wishes, not the other way around. In the afternoon, our snack welcomes you back from the mountains. And in the evening, you sit at your table and realise that these indulgent moments at Friedrich make all the things that felt so important back home seem insignificant.
What’s on your plate has rarely travelled further than your path from the infinity pool to the restaurant. Katja is a founding member of TASTE LOCAL in the Val d’Ega/Eggental valley, and Christof and Konstantin love nothing more than cooking with whatever the valley offers up at the moment.
