Flying breakfast
- Eggs from Bacherhof, scrambled, fried, or in an omelette.
- Freshly roasted coffee by Caroma in Völs, which fills the room with its enticing aroma.
- And then there’s bread fresh from the oven, Sterzing butter that melts on the crust, and fruit jams that we make ourselves, capturing the taste of summer.
- The Speck bacon comes from Metzgerei Pattis butchers in Welschnofen, thinly sliced with that smoky flavour that only mountain air and patience can produce.
- The cheese is supplied by Hagneralm, and the vegetables are harvested by Anna-Maria Gall at Kronlechnerhof and delivered directly to Friedrich.
Every bite has a story behind it
Friedrich is a founding member of TASTE LOCAL and part of the Val d’Ega/Eggental valley pilot project “Regional Cycles”. Our producers live in the neighbourhood. Kohl on Mt Renon/Ritten presses the juices, Näckler bakes the Schüttelbrot bread, and Kirnig collects the mushrooms in Aldein. Short distances, genuine relationships, and Christof is on first-name terms with them all.
The flying concept reinforces this idea: we prepare your order fresh, right there and then. That way, everything ends up on your plate just when it tastes best. Fresh, delicious, and prepared with all the care that good ingredients deserve.
